Flights of Fancy

Saturday we took the kids to the Longview Flights of Fancy kite festival!  I was so happy that the weather held out as we were not able to go last year due to rain.  It was a beautiful day, could've been a tad bit more windy, but as  you will see there were TONS of kites!

We packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed watching the kites while we ate.

LOTS of kites, its a wonder they didn't all get tangled!

The cousins were able to meet up with us and the kids just had a great time!  Kealy loved hanging out with big cousin Zoe!

Not sure how many engineers it took to help Kaiden get his kite up....

...but Ethan didn't seem to have a problem!  I love the look on his face.

The kids had fun running under butterfly kite.  Can't wait to do it all again next year!  Oh, and the best part...it was FREE!!!
