Last weekend, Madison's best friend from school, Brooke, turned 5, and celebrated her birthday rainbow style at In the Middle cupcakes in downtown LS. I was completely amazed at the job that they did. This might be our birthday destination come August!

The first activity they got to do was to go into the kitchen and learn about how to make a cupcake, the history behind it, etc. The kids had a blast, and even I learned some new things!
It's called "in the middle" because there is something in the middle of every cupcake! The kids put a massive dose of frosting in the center of theirs. I was really tempted to just squirt all of that frosting into my mouth, it was delicious.

After cupcakes they had lots of fun activities planned.
One included a balloon hopping race with the balloon between your legs. Not very becoming for a girl in a dress, but Madie's a competitor and wasn't about to lose!
