We had a surprise 80th birthday party for Grandma Hayes! She didn't suspect a thing...in fact, she had bought 3 roasts to cook for dinner that evening!

We gathered everyone into the kitchen, and when Grandma walked in we all yelled SURPRISE!! She was so cute. She couldn't believe all of the people that had shown up to wish her happy birthday. It was the best.

Me and my beautiful Grandma. I only hope that I look half as good as she does when I am her age. (that's her natural hair color!) I treasure the special relationship that we have. We've created a lot of wonderful, lasting memories over the years, and I look forward to many more. Love you Grandma!
One of the gifts she got was a box of gourmet chocolate covered cherries. This little frog was just too cute!
After the party we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's to relax. Kaiden snuggled up with Dad on the couch to watch a movie.
Uncle Dave drove his Mercedes over and let Eric and I take it for a spin. Just a tad bit classier than the mini van! Eric was hoping to trade pink slips...no such luck.
I love these handsome fellas!We had a great weekend, and for sure a memorable one. Only wish we had more time to spend with our family in Omaha.
