4th of July Festivities

We had probably one of the best 4th of July's ever (outside of me getting laid off that Friday, but I wasn't about to let that hamper a fun weekend). Friday we packed the kids up with a blanket, water, snacks, and glow sticks to watch the fireworks at Legacy. It was a spectacular show, and we had the perfect seat!
Saturday, Mom and I hit the pool with the kids, while the boys went golfing. Then we all headed over to Chipper's house for a cookout. Here is Ka-da-boo with Uncle Chipper's sunglasses on...handsome fella!!!
The kids were running up and down the hall playing with Chip, but Kealy made time to stop for a pose!
Once it got dark we headed outside to roast some marshmallows and make s'mores! Cousin Matt was able to join us, and the kids had so much fun!!!

Uncle Chipper even bought some fancy roasting sticks for the kids.

"Hey Dad, LOOK! It's a marshmallow!!!"

We have some of the best times at Chip's place. He has a really nice backyard, and the kids just have a blast. They keep asking when they can spend the night!!! Still waiting for the nod from Uncle Chipper....

The s'mores were YUMMY! Probably one of my favorite treats ever.

As you can tell, Kealy enjoyed them too!

Sunday we went to Shanin's house and we went swimming, ate, and shot off fireworks. The kids love getting to spend time with their cousins. Miss Gracie looked so cute in her swim suit!

Once it got dark I broke out the glow sticks and flags. The kids loved 'em.

We all sat in the front yard and watched the fireworks. The kids had so much fun, and even though we were busy with activities, it was actually very relaxing, and nice to get to spend time with both sides of our family.
