Give Thanks

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Very laid back, no rushing around, and it was awesome. I hope to have more holidays like this. Not to mention the weekend was full of yummy food. Gotta get back on the bandwagon tomorrow...Wednesday night I was up late baking an apple pie. I think it turned out pretty tasty if I do say so myself! Not to mention the green apple dish is super cute. Thursday we headed over to the Striders for dinner. Wayne cooked up a 25lb turkey! It was massive!
He also owns the biggest whisk I think I've ever seen in my life! And did I mention that he makes the best gravy!
Kealy loved the sweet potatoes. She has really been going to town on those lately.
After lunch she snuggled up in UJ's lap
Kaiden's favorite part was dessert of course...pumpkin bars and ice cream, yum yum!
Madie and Grandma sharing a treat
After dinner we played games and Kaiden got so tired he crawled behind the couch and passed out!
We have so much to be thankful for...at the top of my list is of course my family, the faith that I share with them, a job that I love, and the precious moments I share with my children that make life so very, very special. Madison made this little decoration at school stating what she is thankful for. I think this is pretty special.
