Madison made a "Welcome Home" sign for Daddy last night. I remember doing this for my parents when they would go on trips and leave me and my brother for extended
periods of time with our grandparents! (alright, maybe not as long as it sounds, and we did have super fun times with the grandparents!) Anyway, she made a sign, and she was so proud of it, it was so cute. We hung it at the top of the steps and waited for him to come home from his trip.
"Oh my gosh!!!! He's HOME!!!!!"
Eric was so surprised! We even made him some brownies, and Madison was like a little Vanna White displaying her sign, and then she ran over and held her arms out to show him the brownies saying, "Look Dad, we made these for YOU!" So very glad to have him home!
