Happy Mother's Day

I had probably the best mother's day ever thanks to my wonderful husband and those three amazing kiddos! After a hectic week with Eric traveling out of town and me having to work yesterday we decided to stay home today and spend the day with just the five of us. Although we did miss seeing our mothers and family, I did not miss the hustle and bustle of loading the kids and everything up to travel to St. Joe. Staying home is probably the best mother's day gift Eric could've given me! My day started off with breakfast in bed! I remember doing this for my mom when I was little, it was pretty fun! Eric made apple cinnamon muffins, an omelet, and banana. Delicious! Complete with cards and flowers (even if they were the same flowers I won from the heart luncheon, it's the thought that counts!) We got ready for church and even had time for some pictures. It had to be some sort of a record!
This is the best we could do with all three! I'm thinking it will be a while before everyone is willing to look and smile at the camera at the same time.
Me and my girls
Miss Kealy lookin' sassy with her pink hat and bow!
We spent the rest of the day relaxing, I took a much needed nap and did some scrapbooking. Eric made a yummy dinner of BBQ ribs, twice baked potato, broccoli, and fruit salad. He even made cookies for dessert! We're going to give the kids a bath and sit down and finish watching a movie we started two weeks ago! Oh how life can get so hectic. Thank you, thank you, thank you Eric for such an amazing day and for making me feel so very special.

What a wonderful day. I know even without kiddos sometimes just being home on a special day does wonders for the body, mind and soul. I am glad you had such a great day.
