Memorial Weekend always equals Alumni Weekend and the LB basketball tourney. Eric was so excited to play and had his bags packed and ready to go Wednesday night. (are you noticing a trend here???) His first game was Friday at 7pm so we were like bees in a hornet's nest scrambling to get everything loaded up and get up to St. Joe in time. We rolled into town and dropped him off at the gym while I took the kids to my parents to have dinner. I was hoping to make it to the game in time, but walked in right as he was walking off the court. At least they won! Saturday he had another game at 9am, but I had big plans to go with Christie and
Shanin to
Zumba. It was a blast, and man was I sore! I highly recommend trying it. After we worked our aces off we sat down and got a pedicure, it was glorious. I came home to find these squirts sitting outside for a picnic lunch!
The kids had fun eating outside, and I had enough time to grab a quick bite to eat before heading out to watch
Shanin and Michelle play.
Saturday night we were invited over to the
Pughs. We had a great time....11 kids and 9 adults, and everyone got along!
Madison has a new friend, Ben, they had fun dressing up in all of the costumes!
Kaiden eating some animal crackers at the game
Zoe, Madison, Leah, and Lindsey....my cheerleaders in training!
Can't forget the littlest one....she's so cute!
Shanin and Michelle, on the "old" girls team!
1998-2001 Team - it was a good run boys
Eric, sweaty, but still
smilin' even though they lost
Sunday night was dinner at Michelle's house, once again the kids had a great time the only thing that spoiled the party was a thunderstorm that rolled
thru Kaiden, with one eye on the sky, and one on that crazy pink dolphin!
Splishin' and a
splashin'
Since we couldn't play outside anymore it was time to come in and watch a movie, so the adults could try and play cards. I think it was at least an hour before we actually sat down to play!
Aunt Christie lulled
Kealy to sleep.
Monday was lunch at the
Bahrs and boy did Larry cook up a feast. Check out those steaks!
Zoe
snugglin'
Kealy Grandma had the pool up and ready to go
Larry getting some grilling advice...as if he needs it.....
....he's got the thermometer out and those ginormous CAT gloves that are really meant for welding....too funny!!!!
More pool time and playing outside after lunch
Zoe pushing
Kaiden in the Jeep
Ella waving to me, she's so cute!
The kids didn't want to leave, but Eric and I were ready to head home. We had such a fun weekend with family and friends, and I'm so very glad that Eric didn't injure that old body playing basketball!!!!

Geez I am getting beat up on here for packing early. Let me back that up with on Thursdays I pick up the kids while B works late. So between dinner and everything else not much time to get packing done Thursday. Then I leave work early Friday to pack the van and we still role into Joetown only 20 minutes before my game. Sounds like perfect planning to me... :)
