Madison was invited to her first birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. She got so excited when I told her we were going to a party for Maddie J., a little girl who used to go to our daycare. We've been counting down the days and Madison couldn't wait to go to the party. I can honestly say I've never been to Chuck E. Cheese, but I imagined it being much like the Show Biz Pizza they had when I was growing up. Personally, I thought Show Biz was a little better, but we had fun none-the-less! They have the singing guys up on stage...that brought back some memories!

I was pleasantly surprised with a cup of free tokens to use for the rides. They didn't have a whole lot of things for kids Madie's age, but she found plenty to do. Her favorite was this bee catching game (below). She must have played that 5 times!
After pizza, cake, and presents, we spent the last of our tokens, turned in our tickets for a cool, twisty, green straw and headed home!
