37 Weeks, We're In The Home Stretch!!!

I am 37 weeks today and entering the home stretch of pregnancy! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby K! At times it seems like this pregnancy has gone by really fast, and yet there are moments when I can't wait for it to be over! Last night Madie came up to me and patted my tummy and said, "I like your baby Mommy. Are you having two babies?" Guess that means I must really be getting big if my daughter thinks we're having two! Today my boss thought it would be funny to measure my belly because he was certain that I was bigger around than I was tall! Rest assured, I still have 12 more inches to grow before we reach that point.... My feet, legs, and hands have started to swell these past few weeks. Eric is good about encouraging me to put them up, and he'll rub them for me when we have time to sit down together. Tuesday I went and got a pedicure and it felt absolutely wonderful. I almost asked the lady if I could pay for her to just rub my legs for another 30 minutes! They might be big, but at least my toes look good!!!!

That's all the news for now. Our c-section is scheduled for January 29th in the morning. I wouldn't mind if she decided to come a little sooner, but I told my Mom I think she has some of that stubborn German in her. All we can do is wait and see....will keep you posted!
