Pumpkin Patch

Sunday on our way home from St. Joe, the kids and I met up with Eric in Liberty to go to our favorite pumpkin patch, Carolyn's. We finally had a warm and sunny day for what felt like forever, so we didn't want to miss out on our annual trip. I love this place because they have lots of things for the kids to do. Madison LOVES the animals, and even though petting zoos gross me out, I suppressed my inner germ-a-phobe and let her have at it!
They also have tons of things to climb on, thru, and slide down. Here's Kaiden on top of a wooden ship they can climb up and there's a slide down.
One of the highlights is a train ride around the farm, the kids waited patiently as we bought our tickets and boarded the train. TOOT TOOT!!!

Madison loves to ride anything that goes round and round, so we hopped on these little tractors.
"Mom, do you see the pumpkins yet?" - on the hayride out to the patch
Scouting for pumpkins with Dad.
She found the perfect baby pumpkinSharing some kettle korn before we go home.

The kids had a wonderful time at the patch, and this is something that I truly look forward to and enjoy doing with them each fall. Stay tuned next week when we'll carve our pumpkins and post pictures for the annual pumpkin carving contest!!!
