Today the kids and I hit the stores with Great Grandma Rauth and Grandma and Grandpa Hayes. First stop, Toys R Us, where they have more toys than you could ever imagine. Madison had fallen asleep on the way there so I tried to sneak her into the cart without her waking up, but as soon as the bright lights and all of those toys hit her eyes she was up and running! I was hesitant to have her out and about, but with every one's help she was very well behaved. She would slowly go from aisle to aisle checking out all of the toys. We were even able to leave without too much of a fight!

Next stop was the mall for some lunch and Santa. We've been reading books about Santa, and when asked, Madie will tell you that he says, "HO-HO-HO". We got close enough for a look and that's about it. I wasn't going to press the issue...we can always try again next year. Kaiden was willing to sit on his lap for a brief second before the tears started to come. I secretly snapped this picture, where both he and Santa look bewildered. (They really wanted you to buy the overpriced pictures they were selling)

After lots of shopping, and spending, we decided to call it a day. Grandpa was kind enough to go get the car and pick us up at the door. He also watched the kids most of the day so us girls could have free reign of the mall. It was so nice having an extra helper! Thanks Dad!!!
