Cedar Point

Saturday we got up early and headed up north to Sandusky to go to the Cedar Point theme park. It features the largest collection of roller coasters in the world, with 17! We didn't have nearly enough time to ride them all, but we hit some really good ones. Chip and I started the day off with one called MaXair. It spun around in circles reaching a speed of 70 mph and a height of 140 feet. Eric doesn't do well with things that spin, so he stood by to take some pictures. Chip and I strapped in for the ride of our life!!!
We're way up in the air!!!
At the end of the day, Chip and I agreed that this was one of our favorite rides.

Of course, no amusement park trip would be complete without a funnel cake!!!
YUMMY!!!!!!
The last roller coaster we got on was called Top Thrill Dragster. This one goes from 0-120mph in 3.8 seconds and climbs a 420 foot hill before turning 90 degrees and dropping back down with a 270 degree twist. It was AWESOME!!!! We had to stand in line for about an hour for this one but it was well worth it.
We had an amazing day and a really fun weekend with Chip. I'm not sure if we'll be back to Ohio before he moves back to Kansas City (wink, wink - right brother?!?) but I would love to take the kids to Sandusky some day when they are old enough to enjoy some of these rides.

Before we left the park Eric and I played a water gun game to win this stuffed dog for Madison. I hate to say it, but I beat him! That's right, I actually beat Eric at a game!!!! He'll dispute it and say that it was because his gun wasn't as strong as mine, but we all know it's because my skills are better!!!! Anyway, here's a picture of Madie with her new friend.
