"Eric Jr" REALLY is an Eric Jr!!!

Today has been an exciting day. The first half of the day I spent home with Madison just playing, and doing a little housework. She's becoming more and more like her old self every day...crawling around, chasing after Barkley's raw hides, getting into drawers, and apparently crawling underneath the end table.

We keep a lot of her books under there because it's easy for her to get to. Well, she pulled all the books out, and decided that she would make herself my newest little nick knack.

Yesterday I called my OB doctor to let her know about my fall, and to try and get some medicine for an ear ache and sore throat that I have. She wanted me to have an ultrasound just to make sure things are okay. So today we went over to the Lee's Summit Medical Center to have our first ultrasound. They were running a behind, and I had to pee so bad...they finally got us in and everything checked out great. We also got to find out the sex of the baby, and yep, you guessed it, it's a BOY!!! Eric was smiling from ear to ear. We're both very excited. It's funny because, as I mentioned earlier, Eric has been doing all of this "research" trying to find out based on the stars, my food cravings, and various other factors, whether it was going to be a girl or a boy. The "signs" have always pointed to a boy, and I told him that I also felt like it was a boy, and today our suspicions were confirmed! Eric said his "fatherly instinct" told him all along. I just had to roll my eyes. We haven't decided on a name yet, but don't worry, it's NOT going to be Eric Jr. Here's a picture of the proud father with his baby boy's first picture. Let the football training begin!!!
