Our first night we ate dinner at a Thai restaurant right by the hotel. We were able to walk over and when we arrived, these 3 guys were sitting outside, the place was completely empty! We had it all to ourselves. They couldn't have been nicer!!! They showed the kids around the tiny kitchen, and they were just so very kind. I can't emphasize enough how genuinely nice people are here. These 3 guys are from Thailand. The gentleman in the blue shirt had only been in Muscat for a week!!!
The food was amazing! This is an order of spring rolls we got for an appetizer. I could've made a meal of that, and Madison couldn't believe they carved a carrot into a flower!
