Last Friday we attended the Festival of the Butterflies at Powell Gardens. Words cannot adequately describe this event, but I will try. Stunning. Beautiful. Amazing.
We got a TON of absolutely stunning photos. I tried to narrow it down to just my favorites...but it was hard!

This beautiful monarch was striking a pose
This is a moth! He was huge, and although I was a little freaked out (those of you who know me best know that I have a very strong fear of moths) this guy was gorgeous.
Mr. Caterpillar crawling up the stem
There were three different areas of which to see the butterflies and moths. All filled with beautiful flowers.
This is a luna moth
I loved all of the colors in this one
Oh, and these two butterflies are pretty cute as well!!!
One of the volunteers removed this one from the flower and placed it on a girl's forehead. Although it would completely freak me out, it looked really cool.
It was like hide and seek trying to find the caterpillars. Madison would squeal with delight when she found one, and then ask me to take a picture!
We were able to get outside in between rain storms. The kids enjoyed playing some in the fountains.
