Remembrances and Family Ties

Memorial Weekend - a time to remember loved ones lost, and cherish the ones still with you. Memorial weekend has taken on a whole new meaning for me ever since Grandpa passed away
It never ceases to amaze me...all of the decorations on the graves

Grandpa was a pilot in WWII and this plane was placed on his grave by my Aunt Jeanne. Although I miss him so very much, I know he is watching over us, and I think of him every time a plane flies overhead.
Sunday, Grandma, Mom, and I took the kids to the park, while the boys golfed.
Although it was hot, the kids loved exploring in a new park.

Kealy, of course, loved the swing!

Afterwards, we all made a trip to the DQ for a tasty treat!

Madie sharing her cone with Kealy - too sweet!

Monday we had a cookout at Gary and Linda's house. Larry cooked up a TON of chicken, hot dogs, and brauts. YUMMY!!!

The kids had a blast playing in the kiddie pool and taking rides on the 4-wheeler with Grandpa.

Not sure who had more fun doing this!!!

Kaiden was just in heaven. They have a tractor and animals and dirt. What more could a boy need?

Hangin' out at the farm-he loves it!
