My birthday was followed by a week of GI nightmare at our house. It started on Sunday with Kaiden and Kealy having diarrhea, Monday we were up all night with Madison throwing up, even Barkley got sick. Thursday, Kealy puked all over me as I was trying to put her to bed, and by Friday I had it up to here, and was in desperate need of a clean house and a fresh start. Fortunately, Friday kick-started my Mother's day celebrations with a Mother-Daughter tea at Madie's school. We both have been looking forward to this all week!
She wore a fancy dress, and was so excited to see me!
Ms. Katie did a fabulous job of decorating. We had tea and cookies, and then she painted my nails and put lipstick on me! It wasn't nearly as messy as I was anticipating. I got a carnation, a bag of bath salts that she made, and a fridge magnet with a picture of her. It was so sweet.
After our tea we headed to Sutherlands to buy some flowers and hit up the Dairy Queen before picking the other kids up from daycare.
It was the perfect day for some DQ. We sat outside on a bench and just had the best time together.
Saturday we headed over to Uncle Chipper's house for dinner and some fun.
We took the kids to the park, while Eric cooked up some fajitas.

After dinner we cooked s'mores in Chip's fire pit
He stuffed a whole marshmallow in his mouth when I wasn't looking

YUMMY! The kids had the best time. Madison said she can't wait to go back, and spend the night at Uncle Chippers, and have pancakes in the morning! Better get ready Chip!!!
Sunday morning I was greeted by Madison with a card, and breakfast in bed. It was so nice! After church and lunch, we headed to Powell Gardens. The weather was perfect, and the kids couldn't wait to see the dinosaurs on display!
Madie-the T-Rex
Kaiden-an Apatosaurus, notice he's roaring!
There were plenty of pretty flowers for me to photograph using the new lens Eric got me for my birthday. Love it!!!!
Wish my entire yard could look like this!
Eric and the kids with the Allosaurus
Kealy Jeanne had a fun time riding in the stroller
If you look close enough in the middle flower you can see a bee, AMAZING!
