HAPPY SPRING!!! Finally, nice weather has arrived and is hopefully here to stay! We enjoyed a lovely spring weekend outdoors filled with lots of our favorite activities that we have been missing all winter!
Barkley was never so happy to get outside for some fresh air and to run off all of that energy!
Saturday we flew kites in the field behind our house. The kids are getting to be really good at this. Kaiden has a Buzz Lightyear kite, and Madie's is a Barbie.
I never get tired of looking at this sweet face.
I love watching Madie run around with her kite. She is so proud!!!
The butterfly kite is our "family" kite. It flies really well, and is also easy for the kids to control. It makes me think of my Grandpa Rauth.
Kealy was napping while we were flying, but as soon as she woke up she got in on the action. We also raked up 4 bags of leaves and a yard-full of winter turds. (AWESOME!) Saturday afternoon brought rain and a great opportunity for some naps.
Thought we better break out the sunglasses to get ready for all of that sunshine!
Their future's so bright they gotta wear shades!!!
Sunday brought more beautiful weather and a trip to the dog park. It's exactly 1 mile from our house, so we loaded everyone up in the strollers and headed that way.
He's getting really good at swinging, but is really more interested in playing in the dirt!
