What a week!!!

We've had quite the week in the Bahr house....Tuesday I took Kaiden in for his 3yr check up. He got a good report, weighs 33lbs and is 37.25 inches tall. Afterwards, we made a trip to the Dollar Tree so he could pick out a little prize for being such a good boy! Naturally, he picked a little pack of dinosaurs! He and I had a great day with just the two of us. Wednesday morning, both he and Kealy had fevers. Everyone's been fighting colds with the crazy weather and lots of germs floating around. Eric stayed home with them and then went to work when I got home. I am so thankful that his schedule can be flexible. While he was at work, I was giving bathes, which normally goes pretty smoothly, but tonight was an exception. I had Kealy all clean and dressed in her jammies, had the other two out and was getting them dressed. Madie had to go potty, she left the lid up, and didn't flush...enter Kealy....I walked in to find her swirling her arms in the toilet. Awesome! Cleaned her up...walked in to find Kaiden covered in baby powder...double awesome! Although it was rather humorous, I had to yell at him, and he started to cry, creating a lovely paste with tears and powder. I really wish I would've gotten a picture of that!Thursday...still feverish...Eric stayed home again. By Friday, things were looking up, and everyone was able to attend daycare and school. Poor Kealy though has been cutting 4 teeth and between that and not feeling well, she kept us up most of the night every night this week. Even though Eric and I had been tag teaming her, we were both exhausted. Friday night I was up with her, she started running a fever again, I could feel her wheezing, and she was breathing very rapidly. Eric had left at 3:00AM to go into work to catch up from missing this week. I called him and told him we that we need to take her to urgent care. He came home, so I took off with her to the doctor. 3 hours and a breathing treatment later we were back home. I was really worried that she might have RSV, but the test came back negative. She does, however, have infections in both ears. (Knock on wood, she's the first of our kids to have an ear infection...we've been really lucky) As Eric would put it, "it's the perfect storm for her between being sick and cutting the teeth". So we've spent most of our weekend being lazy and trying to catch up on our sleep. Spring can't come soon enough! A post wouldn't be complete without a picture...here's Keakers cruisin' down the hallway!
