I know that I say this every month, but I can't even believe that my little Kealy is 8 months old. This has, without a doubt, been the fastest 8 months of my life. She is growing by leaps and bounds and it is bittersweet. I am really going to miss this baby phase, but am excited for her to learn and explore new things. Needless to say, I am savoring my quiet moments with her, which mostly only happen before bedtime when I am feeding her. I love how she kicks her leg up onto my shoulder, and we just cuddle and snuggle by the glow of the night light until she falls asleep. I love smooching on those chubby cheeks, and how she is really starting to explore with the sound of her own voice. She babbles and giggles all the time, and has become a little speedster around the house with her crawling. Here are some pictures of Kealy doing some of her favorite things.
Swinging in the park - she just thought this was hysterical
Playing in the exersaucer
Eating a mushed banana. This kid LOVES food! She's been pounding the baby food, and I'm slowly introducing more solids. So far she's had some tiny pieces of a grilled cheese sandwich and green beans. She ate it up, literally!!!
