Yesterday was Madison's 1st day of preschool. (SIGH) She has been more than ready and very excited. Friday we went to meet her teacher and she was so excited that she didn't want to leave. My little girl is getting so big.
She picked out her outfit - her favorite Minnie shirt that she got on our vacation, Minnie flip flops, and her new Minnie book bag

....and there she goes....growing up so fast.I am proud to say that I did really well dropping her off. I think Eric was really nervous about how things would go. I saved the tears for the car. I did okay, even making it down the street, and then I started thinking that it seemed like just yesterday that she was Kealy's size and how at that time, I couldn't imagine her being any bigger. Then my mind starts fast forwarding....preschool, high school, college...now I am really starting to feel old! I am amazed at how her personality has developed. I see so much of both Eric and I in her and just feel so tremendously blessed. She couldn't wait to tell me about her day when I got home. She glued the letters of her name on a page with her picture on it, and she "squeezed the glue really hard!". She also got to paint and play outside. She couldn't wait to go back today. I am thrilled that she likes it and that the transition has been so smooth.
