We got checked into our hotel room in Columbia around 4:00 on Thursday. I was able to catch a nap before we met our friends, Rick and Laura for dinner. We couldn't help but laugh at this sign that is on the door on our floor of the hotel. It was like we're back in college on the study floor again with the nerds! And let me tell you, the nerds were rolling in with their book bags and suitcases full of books!!!!

Eric didn't get done with his test until 6:00, so we hit the road to head to the Lake and check into the bed and breakfast. We picked up some Panera on the way thru town and arrived at our room around 7:45. Gary and Cindy, the inn-keepers, gave us a warm welcome, and we were anxious to unwind in our room.
We got a cozy little cottage, all to ourselves!

This morning we got up and Eric went out to take some pictures of the view. This is a view of the back entrance of our room. If it wasn't 37 degrees out we could eat breakfast on the deck.
