Lazy, Crazy Days of Summer

Grandma and Grandpa, Ethan and Zoe came down to play today! The kids were anxious to head to the pool, so after a quick bite for lunch we headed up, leaving Eric and Lars behind to fix the lawnmower!!!! They were able to join us once they finished. We had a really great day. Here are just a few of my favorite pics.....

Zoe and Madie enjoyed some popsicles in the clubhouse of our swing set. Zoe was so cute, she said, "I sure wish I could have some ice cream up here!" I said, "well, how about a popsicle?" She gave me a huge smile and said, "OKAY!!!" The girls had a lot of fun playing together today, and all of the kids got along great.

Uncle Eric set up a table for them in the living room to have dinner while they watch Bolt. What a treat! Madie was so tired from playing all day with her cousins (and not taking a nap) that the poor girl passed out on the living room floor at about 630. I hope she'll sleep thru the night!!!

After everyone left and we were cleaning up, Eric and I agreed that this had been a really great weekend, and that neither one of us is ready to go back to work tomorrow...
