The dinner was really nice, and afterwards we went to the Whitacres house for a Christmas party. We headed home a little before midnight and Eric said, "Boy, this is a late night for the Bahrs." and I replied, "it's ONLY 11:45PM", and then we both laughed! It's hard to want to stay out too late when I know Mr. Kaiden will be giving me an early morning wake up call around 3 or 4 AM. Nonetheless, we had a really fun time and it was nice to get to hang out with friends without having to worry about what the kids are doing.

Burns and McDonnell Christmas Party
Saturday night was the Burns and McDonnell Christmas party for Eric's division. This year it was at the newly remodeled Midland Theatre. Grandma and Grandpa Hayes came to babysit the munchkins so we could enjoy a night out!
