First Check-up

We went for our first well-baby checkup today. Kaiden is gaining back some of the weight he lost after birth, he weighs 6lbs 2 oz right now. He peed all over the place when I took his diaper off to weigh him. I didn't know what to do! I was like, "AHHHH" and tried to use the diaper to cover him up, but the damage had already been done. He peed all over the wall, the scale, and even onto the examine table. (I'm still trying to adjust to changing boy diapers...girls seem so much easier :) After we got that diaper changed and had him all wrapped up, he decided to poop. I think he was planning this the whole time because he just had this look on his face! He got a good report and we go back in two weeks for another checkup.
Things are going pretty good, but I think Kaiden has his days and nights mixed up because he can go for 3 hours during the day between feedings, but at night it's an hour and a half. Needless to say, last night was pretty rough. Eric woke up late for work, I woke up with a fever...not sure if it's from being sick, or just my body trying to get the temperature regulated again. Hopefully tonight will be better, and we'll all start to feeling better soon!
