Can a girl catch a break?

Well, this week has been interesting...Tuesday when I was home with Madie, she didn't want to eat much and started running a low grade fever in the afternoon. I figured it was her teeth because she is getting her molars and a couple other teeth all at the same time. Wednesday she woke up with a little bit higher fever, runny nose, and a cough. I called Sandra and she said that I could bring her to daycare, and she would just call me if needed. Madie still didn't have much of an appetite, but again, I attributed this to her teeth. Thursday I got a call after lunch that her fever was up to 102 and that we needed to come get her. There has been some sort of virus going around, and little Madie was just not feeling well. This is when I got on my cell phone and dialed Grandma to the rescue! Thankfully, my Mom was able to come down Thursday night and stay home with Madie today. I'm trying to save what little vacation time I have left for maternity leave. Madison has moments when she feels good and times when she just wants to be held. Twice today she fell asleep during mealtime. Hopefully a weekend's worth of rest will make her feel better. In the meantime, I'm still putting up with a cough, runny/stuffy nose, and a bit of a sore throat. When will us girls catch a break?!!!
On the baby front, Kaiden has decided to nestle down into my pelvis and it is really starting to get uncomfortable. Sometimes I feel like I could poop out a watermelon! More than you all wanted to know, I'm sure. I can't wait to see Dr. Doan on Tuesday, and maybe we can negotiate an earlier delivery date!!!
