Quick Update

I had a prenatal visit today and everything is going well. I'm still coughing and have some congestion, but I'm a million times better than I was this time last week. Dr. Doan said there's been something going around and that it is typically taking about 10 days to get over. In fact, she said her son was home sick today. I told her I've been having some contractions that seem to be getting stronger. She said as long as I don't have more than 4 in an hour it's okay, otherwise I need to go to the hospital. I had 3 tonight, and I was really getting nervous, but Eric was kind enough to rub my back and they stopped. Too bad this trick won't work after the baby is born. Guess I'll have to come up with a new strategy!!!

We're making great progress on the room. Eric cleaned the carpet last night, and put the crib together and moved all of the furniture in tonight. I picked up some picture frames at Michael's and am anxious to start decorating, and getting all of his things washed up. Madison is really excited about this new room, just hopes she's as excited when her little brother shows up!

Grandpa seems to be doing better as well. I talked to my Mom today and they are hoping to temporarily move him to a skilled nursing facility maybe tomorrow. He'll have the full-time care he needs there while he recovers, and hopefully he'll be a step closer to going home.
