Happy New Year!!!

We had a pretty uneventful New Year's Eve, and I wouldn't have had it any other way! Madie woke up sick yesterday with a fever, and nasty runny nose. I was hoping to take her to Ms. Sandra's so Eric and I could shop for carpet, but with the fever she wasn't able to go. So, we waited until after her afternoon nap in hopes that she would be in good enough spirits to pick out carpet. She was, and in fact she loved running around feeling all of the samples. We were able to find the one we wanted, and hope to have it installed at the end of next week! Chip came over to hang out and we watched a movie. I seriously could've gone to bed at 9:00, but I managed to hang on 'til 11, and woke up at midnight when the fireworks went off. Madie seems to be doing a little better today, and I'm hoping to catch a nap when she does. Happy 2008 everyone!!! Watching the Wiggles in Daddy's massive bean bag chair.
