Madie had an exciting last week of preschool including a field day, live tornado drill, and the biggest banana split you've ever seen!
This is her on field day. Daddy was able to steal away from work for awhile to attend!
They had face painting, egg races, sidewalk chalk, and dancing.
Eric traced her outline on the sidewalk
Dancing a jig before lunch. They had a little cookout, and Eric said he got to take one bite of his hot dog before the tornado sirens went off and they had to take shelter in the little boys bathroom! He said the kids all did really well, and that Madison was one of the few who actually tucked and covered her head. She follows directions really well!!! Ms. Katie was proud that she remembered what they had practiced earlier that week. An hour and a half later the storms passed, and thank God everyone was safe! The other kids were in Ms. Sandra's basement, and I was camped out in the stairwell at work. Sooooo ready for these violent spring storms to pass.
Friday brought sunshine and the biggest banana split you've ever seen! Garen's mom put this together...it's guttering wrapped in foil. The kids thought it was so cool! Everybody brought in their favorite toppings. Madison couldn't' decide between sprinkles or chocolate syrup, so we brought both!
Chowing down!!!

Last day of preschool
I can't believe how fast my little girl is growing. She had a great year at OLP, and this summer Kaiden and Kealy are joining her there. She is really excited to have her brother and sister with her, and it has been a lot easier having one drop off and pick up location! They have lots of fun activities planned....they already took a field trip to the Flip Zone, and have water play one day a week.
