Science City

Saturday we ventured down to Union Station and met up with Grandma and Grandpa Bahr to check out Science City. Burns and McDonnell donated $1 million for new exhibits, and also gave all of it's employees free membership for a year! The benefits from this company just keep coming. I wasn't sure what to expect....I couldn't even remember if I had ever been there as a kid or not. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised! There were lots of things for kids of all ages...from Kealy, all the way to the grandparents. We spent over 2 hours there and didn't even get to do everything. The kids are already asking when we can return....this is definitely something we will be taking advantage of the rest of the year!!!!
The look on Kaiden's face as we walked in and they had this huge mechanical dinosaur!
Digging for dino bones in the dino lab.
Checking out a wind tunnel
Grandpa was having fun creating some static electricity
Kaiden fell in love with the train table
Future helicopter pilot????
Taking the boys for a ride!
Learning about lightening
A bearded dragon...kinda interesting!
We look pretty tiny in comparison to this bracheosaurus!
Keakers loved zooming around in the stroller and checking things out, but she kept bobbing her head for Grandpa to go faster! It was pretty funny!
We walked over to Crown Center for lunch in hopes that we could dine at Fritzs, but the line was WAY to long. Have to try again during the week. We did grab a delicious meal from a little Greek stand. It was yummy. CC has an under the sea exhibit we would also like to see....Saturday they had the Mermaid Princess, and Madie was able to get her picture with her!
After lunch it was back to Union Station to check out the model trains.
Once again, he fell in love!
It was pretty cool to see all of the different exhibits and the size references.
We grabbed an ice cream treat from Rocky Mountain Chocolate before heading home.
"Oooo, that's cold!!!"
What a beautiful girl!
We came home and crashed after a fun day with the grandparents. We can't wait to do it again!!!
