Kealy's 4 Month Check-up

Kealy had her 4 month check-up this past Tuesday and she got an excellent report! This little chunker weighs 13lbs 8 oz, and is 24 1/2 inches long! Man she is growing fast!!! That sets her in the 50th percentile. She is sitting up really well with the help of the Bumbo seat and she's starting to roll around on the floor. It's only a matter of time before she'll be rolling circles down the hall! We've been battling that thrush now for three weeks, so we got some new medicine and I think it's finally gone! (Woo! Fingers crossed!) She's been drooling so much though, that she spread the infection to her chubby little neck. So we got some Rx powder for that and the rash has gotten a lot better. Wednesday she was running a slight fever from her shots, and her little legs were so sore. I felt like I was operating a pharmacy between giving her some Motrin, the thrush med, and the powder on her neck before sending her to daycare! You can't keep her down though, she's still smilin' and cooing all of the time. What a pleasant little gal! This week we got a surprise package in the mail from my friend Melissa! She makes (and sells) the cutest hairbows for babies and little girls. Madie got a matching hairbow too! If you are interested in buying some let me know and I'd be happy to pass on her contact info.
