This week started off with a bang when I arrived to work on Monday to find out that we would be short a person all week. So I ended up working late Monday, half a day Tuesday, and late on Wednesday. By Thursday I was beat! Wednesday morning Eric took off for Phoenix for a guys' golf trip with my Dad, Chip, UJ, and Uncle Dave. Just to let you know how excited he was he had his bags all packed and ready to go on Sunday! Mom came down on Wednesday to spend the rest of the week with me and help with the kids. We were so thankful to have her. The kids got to sleep in Thursday and stay home with Grandma while I headed off to work. Madie and Kealy watchin' some Mickey Mouse.
I took Friday off and it was the only sunny day of the week so we headed to the zoo. It was a little crowded at first with lots of school groups having their end of school year field trips.
We hit up the Australia part first since we didn't get to see that the last time. These kangaroos were just hanging out in the field, and they were super close!

We packed a picnic lunch and the kids had a great time!

Saturday, Mom and I went to Megan Orth's baby shower while Sandra watched the kids for us. Megan is a long time friend of mine. We basically grew up together, and have been good friends ever since. She is having a baby boy in July and I am so excited for her.
We were a little disappointed that the weather didn't cooperate for us to do more things outside, but we were able to keep ourselves entertained anyway.
Madison is forever changing outfits from jammies, to dresses, to her swim suit. She and Kaiden found their way into my closet for some dress-up shoes. (Just glad he didn't chose the heels!)
Last night we had movie night and that was a nice relaxing time for everyone. The kids watched Princess and the Frog and I got to watch It's Complicated with my Mom. It was really nice to get to watch a girly movie for a change! (Not like I have much time for movies anyway!) Thank you, thank you, thank you Mom for ALL of your help this week. We couldn't have survived without you! Pictures of Eric's trip to come later. His plane should be landing in about an hour and I can't wait to have him home!
