Today my Mom came down to hang out with me and the kids and do something fun before I have to go back to work. We weren't quite sure what the weather would do, but decided to make a trip out to Deanna Rose Farmstead. I'd heard a lot of good things about it and admission is free during the week. You can't beat FREE!!!!
The kids had a blast playing on the different farm-like jungle gyms

There were lots of different animals to look at.
Kaiden was in awe of the cows
Madison's favorite thing was feeding the goats a bottle of milk. She went back twice to do this!
The funniest thing was when they tried to grab my Mom's Vera Bradley wallet! One even got the coin part unzipped and some coins out!

Madison also loved the pony rides. Unfortunately you have to be 3, so Kaiden was a little too young. So while she rode the ponies he rode some little tractors with Grandma. We all had a great time and I think it's safe to say that we will add this to our list of fun things to do this summer!
