Our Latest Landscaping Project

Monday night I was sitting on the couch feeding Kealy and watching the news when I looked over my shoulder only to find a huge branch of our tree in the front yard down! What in the world??? Yes, it had been windy, but not nearly as windy as it was last Friday. Needless to say, we have some work on our hands. It's a shame too, because this is the time of year when I like the tree the most, with all of those pretty pink blooms before it gets the burgundy leaves.

Needless to say, Eric wasn't too happy, but then quickly changed his attitude when he realized he had the opportunity to purchase a chain saw! However, we had a guy come by last night and quote us some prices for removing it. I think it just might be worth the money and the assurance of my husband keeping all of his limbs!!!
