We've been spreading out our present opening, which has turned out to be a good thing, especially since we got hit with the snow storm. Plus, the kids have seemed a little overwhelmed with all that they've had to open. Tuesday night we surprised my Dad with the first of his big gifts...a brand new big screen T.V. for their basement. Needless to say, he was very surprised!
"Holy crap, what is that???!!!"
Eric did the shopping and the rest of us supplied the funds.

We opened presents with my family Christmas Eve morning since Chip had to head back to KC to work Christmas day and the weekend. Madie got a doctor's kit and has been checking us over ever since.
Kaiden got a Car's race track from Uncle Chipper
Eric got a Garmin so we no longer have to argue over whether or not we're lost!
We got dressed for 4:00 mass and then headed to the Bahr house for the annual Christmas eve festivities. Paula made a delicious Mexican spread and then we dove into the presents. With all of the grandkids you're lucky to find a seat to sit on with all of the goodies!
Christmas Mania at the Bahr house
Leah got these roller skates and Madison was obsessed with them. She kept asking, "where are my skates? Please!" It was really kind of sad because she wasn't interested in opening anything up. Kaiden was tired b/c his napping schedule was off, so things were a little crazy. Eventually we ended up packing the rest of their gifts up to open later.
Christmas morning Santa came, and Kaiden was up at 7:00 on the nose. We creeped downstairs to see what Santa had brought. Kaiden got a ride-on Caterpillar dump truck, and Madie got a turtle drawing board, which Kaiden also enjoyed.
They both love the fishing game that Grandpa Paula got them.
