Breakfast With Santa

Our Employee Advisory Group (EAG) at the hospital sponsored a breakfast with Santa this morning. Members of our leadership team dressed up and we had little craft activities for the kids. I am very proud to say that I am the chair of this committee and we have been able to do a lot of great things not only for our employees, but for the community as well. Kyla (Director of Hr), Phil (COO), and Suzanne (ACNO)
Carolyn, our CEO, as Mrs. Claus
Eric brought the kids up later in the morning. I had to get there a little earlier to help get things set up. We had two crafts for the kids to do. This one they could scratch off a design on a candy cane to make an ornament. I was a little nervous that Kaiden was going to stab me in the eye with the tool!!!
At the next table they could make a picture frame to put their picture with Santa in. It was taking a while for the pictures to print, so I'm picking ours up on Monday. I'm sure it turned out great considering neither one of the kids wanted to sit on Santa's lap and were screaming and clinging to us the whole time!!!

We finally sat down and had a little treat for breakfast. Everything was free for employees, volunteers and their families. We had doughnuts and pastries, fresh fruit, juice, and milk.
The kids also got a little treat bag that included a coloring book, crayons, and a little bubble blower. I think they had a fun time, and I know I certainly enjoyed myself helping the kids out and just seeing how much fun everyone was having.
