Most of you probably didn't know that I was flying out to Columbus, OH with my parents to surprise Chip for his birthday. He knew they were coming, but had no idea that I would be tagging along! I was so excited and couldn't wait to see the reaction on his face. When we checked in for our flight at KC, they already told us that our other flight was delayed. This meant instead of getting into Columbus at 4:00PM we wouldn't be getting in until 9. We were really disappointed, but what can ya do? Well, long story short. That flight got delayed, and then canceled, and we were put on the last flight out of Milwaukee for the night. This meant we wouldn't get in until almost midnight. Well, with 15 minutes to go before this flight took off, we still didn't have a plane to fly on! It ended up coming in late, and we were finally able to take off. So, after 8 LONG and boring hours in the Milwaukee airport (not a place you want to be stuck, let me tell ya) Chip finally came to pick us up. I snuck in the front seat of his car while Mom and Dad distracted him putting the luggage away. He was so excited to see me, and I was so happy to see him. FINALLY!!!!!
Yesterday, after sleeping in some, we went to the Jack Nicklaus museum on Ohio State's campus. It was really interesting to walk thru.
The Golden Bear
After the museum we got a bite to eat at Cap City Diner. The food was delicious and we ending up splitting the Seriously Large Chocolate Cake for dessert. It was very large, but very tasty. We managed to eat the whole thing!!!
After lunch Chip took us over to the bookstore to look around before heading to The Funny Bone for a comedy show. We ending the evening with some drinks and a lot of laughs.
