We had a little taste of spring today...the temperature got up to 65, the sun was shining and there was a light breeze blowing. We decided to get everyone out for some fresh air since the kids had been cooped up in the house all week with fevers, runny noses and coughs. Thank God that Grandma Patty could come to our rescue this week so Eric and I didn't have to use up the last of our dwindling vacation time! We decided to check out the Happy Trails dog park that is just a mile from our house! They have an off-leash area for Barkley as well as things to climb thru and jump over. I think he had the most fun just running around sniffing butts!
They also have playground equipment for the kids and we had a lot of fun swinging, climbing and going down the slides. 
Kaiden is walking more and more each day. He's going to be my little explorer.
When we came home Madie wanted to ride her tricycle and play on her own swing set. I was pleased to see that she is starting to figure out how to use the pedals. 
We played outside for another hour and I had to bribe her with some ice cream to come inside. Hopefully the Groundhog won't see his shadow on Monday and spring will be right around the corner!!!
