Merry Christmas

Christmas vacation has gone by really fast, but we've had a lot of fun and found some time to relax at home. Christmas Eve we got all dressed up to head to mass at 4:00. The church was packed, and the kids were pretty well behaved considering how long we were there. Eric told me not to get my hopes up too high for the perfect family picture, good thing 'cause here's how it turned out! After dinner began the mass present opening. The kids got a lot of nice stuff and after a long day we were all ready for bed so Santa could come.Christmas Day was split between lunch at the Bahr house and snacks at Grandma Rauths. It was another hectic day, but we hate to miss seeing all of the relatives. Madie really enjoyed getting to play with all of her cousins.
Here's several of them watching her
favorite movie, Wall-E
Kobe, Leah, Karlee, Ryder, Blaise, and Madison

Friday we did Christmas with my parents. We had a delicious Chinese lunch and then opened presents. Mom got me a new Creighton hoodie complete with a headband to keep my ears warm! Mom bought the kids their own version of Rock Band since they always like to play it when Eric and I are having rehearsal! Madie loved opening this little piano.

Friday night we met up with friends at Kelly's Pub to celebrate Nicki Jacobs' graduation from nursing school. Several friends from LeBlond showed up that we hadn't seen in a long time. It was so much fun getting to catch up with them.Today we celebrated Leah's 3rd birthday and tomorrow Eric is making lunch for his Mom's birthday, which was on Christmas. After that we're heading home for another short work week and then it's off to St. Louis for a New Year's adventure! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and is staying warm!!!
