We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, probably one of the most relaxing holidays we've had in a long time! We have so much to be thankful for in a time when so many people are struggling financially or otherwise. Like most people, we are certainly thankful for our family and friends, good health, and a warm place to call home. We've been blessed with two beautiful, healthy children, and probably the best dog anyone could ever ask for! Right now I'm thankful for the warm cup of Ghirardelli hot cocoa that is sitting next to me :)
We celebrated Turkey day at the Bahr house, where there was enough food to feed an army! It was certainly nice not have to run from house to house to see everyone. Friday we went to my Aunt Eileen's house for some leftovers and then the girls went shopping while the guys watched football. It was a lot of fun to get out with my mom, aunts, and grandma. Saturday was spent catching up on our naps and just relaxing at Mom and Dad's. Chip had this holiday off and was home so I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible! Today we headed back to Lee's Summit and I really wanted to put the Christmas tree up. Eric and I were talking about some different possibilities of where we could put it...long story short, we completely rearranged the living room, only to put everything back where it originally was! So I have to say that I am most thankful for such a loving and caring husband who puts up with all of my shenanigans. I truly don't think anyone else would!
Well, I promised myself I would go to bed early tonight, so you'll have to wait for some pictures tomorrow. Eric used his b-day money and bought a new digital camera this weekend and we really love it!!!
