Omaha Road Trip

This weekend we hit the road to Omaha to celebrate my Grandma's 77th birthday and Mom's 55th! Friday we took Madison to the zoo, and my cousin Noah tagged along. He was a great little guide and made sure we hit all the hot spots. It was a perfect day...not too warm and no rain. We had a really fun time and enjoyed watching Madison say hello to all of the animals. I think we're going to make this an annual event.

She really loved the petting zoo, and wouldn't stray from this little goat. I'll admit, this was probably my least favorite part...stinky animals and lots of little poop pellets!!!

We couldn't leave without getting Kaiden an animal from the gift shop. Noah picked out this adorable little penguin. I think we're going to name him Mr. Softee. Kaiden has already licked him from head to toe!!!

Saturday night we celebrated the birthdays. Madie got her own little cake for her birthday next month. She even blew the candles out...with a little help from Dad.
