4 Years of Wedded Bliss!!!

Today is our 4 year wedding anniversary (although we have been together for almost 10 now!). Initially, Eric said we were only going to exchange cards because we've been saving our money to buy a camcorder. Well, he definitely surprised me tonight...I came home from a busy day at work and actually changed into my pajamas (I never do that, honest). I figured we'd have a nice quiet evening at home and just watch the Cardinals game. Eric kept hinting that he would fix dinner, so all throughout the day he kept asking me what I wanted, and I told him I didn't really care. When he got home, I kept asking him what we were having and when would it be ready because I was starving!!! I hadn't even signed my card yet, and he was anxious to exchange, so I quickly did that and we swapped cards. I noticed mine had a gift card in it, for a massage at Beauty Brands...very thoughtful! I wrote in his that I would give him a massage if he could catch me before I fell asleep! Then he told me that I needed to change my clothes because Chip was coming over to babysit so we could go out!!! I couldn't believe it! I was so surprised. I wasn't even off the couch and Chip was here, so I quickly changed and we went and had a lovely dinner at Houlihans. I can't tell you the last time just the two of us went out for dinner. It was wonderful! I have to say that I have the best husband EVER!!!!
