This weekend we headed back to St. Joe. We arrived just in time for lunch, and afterwards, we all went outside to play in the backyard. Grandma and Grandpa have a swing set that is surrounded by sand, and I don't know what could be more fun! Madison enjoyed the slide, of course, and explored in the sand. I think that's the first time she's seen sand. She mostly enjoyed throwing it over the brick wall and listening to the sound it made when it fell into the bushes below. Not too sure how happy this made Grandpa since he was the one who had to haul all of the sand in! Being around his old swing set led to Eric reminiscing about the games they used to play as kids. This, in turn, led to each of us trying out the monkey bars! It seemed so easy when I was little, and a few pounds lighter!!! Having children makes me remember what it was like to be a kid and I love that! I love just enjoying all of the little things that I would never do as an adult if I didn't have kids...like showing off my tricks on the rings!!! We had a really fun time!

Saturday night we headed over to Uncle Kev and Aunt Lori's house. They just built a new home and invited everyone out for an open house/graduation party for Kalee. Their house is beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of hard work into it. Madison had a lot of fun playing with her cousins, and I got to play cards with the big people!
Uncle Kev blowing up a balloon for the kids. I think he secretly has a side job as a clown!
