Easter Egg-stravaganza!!!

We made it back to St. Joe for Easter. Eric was really worried about fitting all of our "stuff" in the car, but I think I did a pretty good job on packing conservatively! Poor Barkley though, has lost his spot in the backseat and had to resort to sleeping on the floor!

Even though the weekend was really hectic, it was nice to get back and see everyone, and introduce them to our new addition. My only disappointments were that I forgot Kaiden's Easter outfit at home, and I didn't get a family picture...we were too rushed before mass, and Madie fell asleep on the way home. Maybe I'll dress them up again this Sunday and try for some pictures then.

Saturday evening, Madie, Mom, and I whipped up a batch of sugar cookies. Madie was a great helper. I tried to get her to keep Grandpa out of the raw dough...easier said then done!

We had an Easter egg hunt in the Bahr backyard! I was really excited for Madie this year since she wasn't old enough to walk yet this time last year. I got her this cute Easter basket with her name on it, and we rushed down the deck steps to the backyard. However, my dreams of the perfect egg hunt were hatched (hahaha) when she found the slide more intriguing than any egg she might have found. So, I became her personal egg-hunter, and I must admit, I did have a good time.

I was able to tear her away from the slide long enough to pluck this egg from the fence!
