Well, here he is...born Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 at 2:31PM. He weighed in at 6lbs 6 oz and he is 19 inches long. Everything went great, I started having contractions Tuesday morning and was supposed to see the doctor that day anyway, but they kept pushing my appointment back because she was in a delivery. The second time they called I told the nurse I was having contractions and she sent me to the hospital to be checked out. Dr. Doan called and said they would go ahead and do the c-section. I was just so excited and anxious for it to be done! It was amazing how much better I felt within just a short time of him being delivered. I could breath easier and just felt better all over. Kaiden was anxious to start eating, and latched on instantly! (He truly is a Bahr!) He got a little chilly after his bath, so we put him under the heat lamp. He was so cute, like a little sunbather, with his legs all stretched out, and his hands curled up under his chin.
Madie hasn't been able to meet her little brother yet because she was running a fever yesterday, but Grandma has been taking good care of her. We'll be going home tomorrow and I can't wait to see her reaction.
