Well, Saturday I woke up with a sore throat and an ear ache. It quickly progressed into a cough and A LOT of snot! I had a doctor's appointment this morning. Dr. Doan got called out for a delivery, and they wanted me to come back this afternoon. I have to take Madie to her 18 mth checkup this afternoon and I really didn't have time. I asked if there was someone else, ANYONE, who could see me as I was not feeling well. Thankfully, Dr. Woods was able to fit me in. I was running a slight fever, and talked to her about my illnesses lately. I think I was better for a whole 5 days from my last illness before this one came on. I also told her that I feel like the baby has dropped and he is really putting a lot of pressure on my pelvis and back. We talked about signs of labor and when to go to the hospital, should anything happen before March 5th. (There's a full moon on the 21st, I'm hoping something might happen then!) She checked my ears and said that I do have fluid in them. Dr. Woods said I probably have a sinus infection, so she wrote me a Rx for amoxicillin and I was on my way. The only thing that is making this day better is the fact that I'm indulging in a piece of Godiva chocolate cheesecake as I type this, and I also picked up a bag of dark chocolate truffles when I dropped my Rx off at Walgreens! If only my husband would bring me some flowers...I'm pretty sure that would make me feel better!!!
I am just getting really sick and tired of being sick and tired, and even though maternity pants are extremelly comfortable, I'm tired of constantly trying to keep my britches up, and adjust my waistband to accomodate for Kaiden's head! One last complaint and then I'm going to take a nap....I was at Kohl's this morning after my appointment, looking for some things for the new bathroom. It wasn't crowded since it was in the morning, but the one place where I was looking there was a lady with a cart, and I SWEAR she was following me from aisle to aisle just to piss me off! She had the whole store, and she was right on top of me when I was trying to look at these rugs. I was just about ready to tell her to back off after she rounded the corner to join me in a new aisle for the 3rd time! Hopefully the drugs and the chocolate will kick in soon and I'll feel like a new person!
