Surgery Central

Well, this day seems to have just flown by. Madie and I slept in some this morning, and then got cleaned up and played before Grandma came down to take over. I had a doctor's appointment at noon, and of course the one day I'm hoping to be in and out, I was there almost 2 hours! They were running behind, and she wanted to schedule my c-section as well. Everything seems to be going well, just a little hip and back pain, but the end is in sight! Mark your calendars for the arrival of Kaiden Alexander Bahr on March 5th, 2008!!!! We're very excited, anxious, nervous, etc. Fortunately, the basement should finish up on Friday with the carpet being installed, and we can get to work on the nursery.

I had just enough time to grab Panera for Mom and I before heading off to pick Eric up for his eye surgery. He had to be there at 4:00 to fill out paperwork and go over the eye drops and everything. Silly me brought a whole bag of magazines and books to read, but I forgot I would be sitting with Chatty Kathy. Eric was so excited, he was like a little kid who couldn't sit still. They gave him 2 Tylenol PM's to keep him calm and help him relax, but the whole time we were waiting he was talking my ear off and I was the one about ready to fall asleep! The procedure itself didn't take long at all, and I was able to watch it on a T.V. screen. When we got in the car to come home he said he could already read the clock on the dashboard. He came home and went straight to bed, so I wasn't able to get a picture of him in his sexy sunglasses, but maybe tomorrow. Thanks so much for your thoughts, prayers, and emails. We really appreciate it.
