Dog Blessing

This evening we went up to church to the Family Ties and pet blessing in celebration of St. Francis-lover of animals. Barkley was so excited to finally be taken on an outing! There were lots of good looking dogs there...lots of butts to be sniffed! They also had caramel apples, hot dogs, roasted marshmallows, popcorn, hay rides, and face painting. We missed the initial blessing, but asked Fr. Jim to give Barkley a special blessing. He also gave one to Madison for her broken leg! We had a fun time, and it was nice to meet some other people with dogs.
