How much is that Madie in the window?

Today was a day with some new adventures. We explored the new-found world on top of the toy box that sits under the window in her bedroom! Silly Mom has left those stuffed animals sitting up there by their lonesome since the day she was born, and they needed a friend to play with! Madie had a fun time jabbering with her new friends and getting a higher up view of the world outside.
This afternoon our Parents as Teachers lady came by. We were assigned a new person this year because the woman we had last year retired. Both Madison and Barkley were interested in the toys she brought to share. We really enjoy participating in this program to get some feedback on how Madie is doing, and things that we can do to help her development. After Tamara left, Madie decided to just sit in the toy box, and try and dig thru the toys to get to the "good ones" on the bottom!
Tonight was bath night, and Madison has been getting brave about putting her face in the water. At first she started out just by licking the water...I think she learned this from Barkley. The past two bathes she put more of her face in, and tonight she figured out how to blow bubbles in the water. She was pretty pleased with herself! We had to call Dad in for the show...so she blew some bubbles for him and then sat up with a HUGE smile on her face and clapped her hands. It was quite the site.
